In line with the project’s overall goal to empower the adult educators with an integrated & innovative iPath2UpSkilling Platform & Programme & with the specific skills for using it in order to assure high quality upskilling pathways for the low-skilled/-qualified adults through guidance services, formal & non-formal education, training & coaching services, the aim of this activity is:
To empower 25 direct beneficiaries (educators, trainers & other personnel who support adult learners) with the necessary skills to use the iPath2UpSkilling Platform & Programme in the benefit of low-skilled/-qualified adults
To enhance the usage of digital tools of the iPath2UpSkilling Platform in everyday work of educators, trainers & other personnel who support adult learners
To evaluate the iPath2UpSkilling Platform & Programme & resources & tools during the development stage by requesting feed-back from the participants to Learning, Teaching or Training activities.
The results include a number of 25 certified professionals to use the iPath2UpSkilling Platform and its resources during Learning, Teaching, Training activities:
C1 seen as a training of trainer’s event, targeting staff of each organisation, in order to reach common outreach & standards. It will be connected to the methodology work (handbooks) of IO2 and to the practical outcomes of O2 & O3, as well as reviewing the second version of O1.
C2 seen as a blended-learning & testing for developing Mentorship Manual (IO2), putting together trained staff and professionals’ users and multiplying the educational effects.
Increase the skills to upskill!
In line with the objectives of the project, we carried out two training activities, a physical event and an online training.
The physical event, called Increase the skills to upskill!, was held in the UK on 11, 12 and 13 October 2022.
Participants in the event were members of staff from each participating organisation. The staff selected were primarily educator/trainers/other staff who support adult learners.
During the event, participants were training on how to use the tools developed during the project, in particular the iPath2Upskilling platform and the e-learning platform, to support adult learners, especially those with low skills/low qualifications. Participants were also trained on how to develop new courses using the e-learning platform.
Successful path to a successful career
In January 2022 we held the second training activities, called Successful path to a successful career. This event was held online and was designed to empower 15 direct beneficiaries (educators, trainers & other personnel who support adult learners) from external organisations with the necessary skills to use the iPath2UpSkilling Platform & Programme in the benefit of low-skilled/-qualified adults.
Other goals of the event included:
– To enhance the usage of digital tools of the iPath2UpSkilling Platform in everyday work of educators, trainers & other personnel who support adult learners
– To evaluate the Mentorship Programme as part of iPath2UpSkilling Programme during its development stage by requesting feed-back from the participants to Learning, Teaching or Training activities.
– To raise awareness on the newly developed iPath2UpSkilling Platform & Programme at the community level.
The event was led by Stando, the partner organisation from Cyprus.
